Here's how easy it is to make the switch to Bigfork Propane:
- If you are ready to make the switch to Bigfork Propane, our professional staff is prepared to make your transition as smooth as possible. Call us at 1-406-752-5715 to set up an appointment. Be aware that our schedule fills quickly. Call early to get the best date and time for your new tank set.
- Our trained personnel will remove outdated hardware from your old tank. We will evaluate the site and prepare the old tank for replacement. Any problems with your old set-up will be repaired and readied for your new Bigfork Propane tank. We will check the site placement of your old tank and make sure it is appropriate for the new tank.
- After the evaluation, we will move our service truck into place. Your old tank will be carefully lifted onto our truck.
- The selected site will be prepared for placement of your new Bigfork Propane tank. The ground will be leveled and debris removed.
- Once the site is ready, your new Bigfork Propane tank will be set.
- Once your new tank is in place, new hardware will be installed. Your system will be overhauled to meet the strictest of specifications. Safety is of the utmost concern, so nothing will be left to chance.
- Regulators will be installed and checked. New copper will be put in place. Every connection will receive a thorough check as new risers are installed.
- After hardware installation, we will check for leaks.
- Bigfork Propane will perform the Gas Appliance System Check, also known as GAS Check®. This is a vital preventative maintenance service performed by our propane systems experts. More information on GAS Check®
- Once all safety checks are completed, it's time to fill your tank with energy-efficient Bigfork Propane. Your old tank will be placed in a location that is convenient for pick-up.
- Your new Bigfork Propane tank is set and ready for years of service.
